From the Quad City Botanical Center in Rock Island, Illinois comes this lovely layout set up by the Heartland Central Model Railroad Club. A few nice views of this layout when first laid out, after the landscape stone is added, and at a special Halloween event.
Garden Railroad Tour 2010
The 2010 Garden Railways Tour from The Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. This lovely video shows the five fantastic railroads they were able to visit in the Strasburg area. Quite impressive stuff in real people's home gardens.
Southeast Michigan's Largest Garden Railroad
From Bedford Falls, Michigan comes the self proclaimed largest garden railroad in Southern Michigan. Looking at this beautiful footage I don't doubt the title. This starts off in a very impressive indoor railyard, which I'm fairly certain is in a garage taken over by trains! The engine leaves the yard through a tunnel that comes out onto one of the many trestles in this layout. A quite impressive layout overall, but the awesome trestle work is what really grabs me.
